JuJu Bee's 1st Annual Toys For Tots™ Toy Drive

Here at JuJu Bee's we love to give back to our community and those in need, whether it be Breast Cancer Awareness & Research, JDRF, donating food & clothing to our shelters among many others.

And this time of the year just brings out the best in us. Our family just loves Christmas, it is our FAVORITE time of the year...it's the season of giving. Every year we let our children pick out 2 brand new toys to donate to Toys For Tots™ and you should see the smile on their faces as they drop it in the big bin, it makes them feel so proud that they are bringing joy to another child that may not have as much as them. So this year we have decided to ask our loyal customers and followers to help us in bringing that joy to another child with a donation of a NEW, UNWRAPPED toy. For every toy that you send our drop of to us we will in return share in the holiday season by giving you a $5 gift certificate to be used in the store, the more toys you send the more you get to spend in scrapping goodies. Our goal for our very first Annual Toys For Tots™ Drive will be 500 (more if possible) brand new toys that we will take to our local Toys For Tots™ bin on the 20th of December. Please help us in spreading the holiday cheer this year by donating.

Star Mini Album Tutorial

Hello! Jamie with you here today and I am going to show you how to make a Star Mini Album. These mini albums are the best...I make one every year to showcase my daughter's Christmas pictures:-) They are also great for a quick and easy stocking stuffer for a family member!

Ok here is what you do:

Step 1: Cut seven 4 x 12 pieces of cardstock (mine is red)

Step 2: From these strips, cut at 5.5 inches. You will now have seven pieces of 5.5 and seven pieces of 6.5 inch pieces.

Step 3: Cut four 4x12 strips of cardstock (mine is white). Then cut these in half at 6 inches.

Step 4: You will now have all of your pieces to make this album.

Step 5: Fold all of the pieces in half.

Step 6: Put adhesive on the biggest piece and the medium piece on the outside edge only.

Step 7: Adhere them together - edges only - with the smallest piece on the inside.

Step 8: Continue to do this with all of your pieces.

Step 9: Time for finishing touches! Adhere some patterned paper over a piece of chipboard (I used a cut up cereal box). Adhere a piece of ribbon to the front and back of your book and then place your covers over top.

Step 10: Your star book is complete! Add embellishments as desired!

Seasonal Cartridges

Hello All. I wanted to let all my customers that ordered the 3 Limited Edition Seasonal Cartridges know that we haven't forgotten about you. Provo Craft oversold on these cartridges and were unable to send out all the cartridges to their retailers, unfortunately us being one of them, we didn't receive the Snow Friends cartridges but should have them in this week. We have tried emailing everyone that placed an order and we apologize if you haven't received one yet, we unfortunately got hit with that nasty flu bug and have been under the weather for the past 2 weeks and are trying to get back on our feet. It's hard when there are only 2 of you running the business and you both get sick at the same time. But we are trying to do our best. Scrunched Ribbon Tutorial

I've had a few people asking how I do my scrunched ribbon,
so I thought this would be a perfect time to show you all :)
First get out your desired supplies ( I used the November kit!)

Cut down and assemble your papers (I made a card)
adhere one side of the ribbon to your project.

Start folding over the ribbon--adhere under the fold(I use a glue stick)
and under the ribbon ( the part that touched your paper).

Repeat until you get as many 'folds' as you would like.

add your finishing touches :)
